Meet Dr. Callerina (Cally) Key

Dr Cally photoDr. Cally is a former NCAA Track and Field athlete from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. In May of 2010 during track practice she hit a hurdle wrong and broke her right femur, which led to a difficult recovery, but ultimately her love for chiropractic. It was a chiropractor who helped Dr. Cally get back on the track for practice in less than four months after her surgery.

Chiropractic Education &
AK Certification

After her time at the UAB, Dr. Cally enrolled in Life University in Atlanta Georgia to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. While in chiropractic school she participated in 100 hours of extra courses to receive a certification in Applied Kinesiology (AK).

AK borrows from many different disciplines, using muscle testing as a guide for diagnosis and patient care. By testing the strength of certain muscles, we get a glimpse of how related organs and tissue nearby are functioning.

Simple muscle testing helps us uncover functional issues that may be in your body. It can also direct us to the best options to restore your health.

A Passion for Helping Athletes

My experience as both a high level athlete and chiropractic doctor allows me to better understand leisure and competitive athletes so I can address their weaknesses and help them maximize their strengths.

Dr. Cally believes that in one way or another we are all pushing our bodies whether that is in sports or everyday life. Her goal is to educate as many people as she can about the importance of proper spinal structure and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

Outside the Practice

When she’s not working, Dr. Cally is a passionate CrossFit competitor.
